Overview As a member of our Product Marketing group, you’ll represent the customer throughout a product’s journey from concept through development and launch. You’ll develop and apply insights to help infuse innovative features into our product-development process. You’ll work with the team to craft ideas into tangible products that excite the world. The Product Marketing Manager, Latin America will own and drive the product-centric marketing strategy for their respective product line of business. A critical function of this role is to be the spokesperson for their product in market. You will be part of a team of product experts who champion products within their respective markets and seek innovative ways to keep our products at the heart of the customer conversation. Responsibilities Drive regional product launches with excellence in collaboration with Worldwide Product Marketing. Provide product leadership from introduction through end-of-life to marketing and sales organizations. Brief local teams on new product features, positioning, and any local feature gaps or availability delays. Act as liaison between Mexico and WW Product Marketing for local business needs and local market feature requirements. Articulate issues and make clear recommendations. Collect and proactively share local market insights including market share, consumer trends, and key business drivers. Define, develop, and drive outbound marketing initiatives that enhance customer experience and impact the business. Contribute to the development of the annual marketing and business plans, outlining opportunities and actions that lead to growth and category leadership. Analyze weekly and quarterly business performance; summarize developments in market and competitive landscapes. Create and deliver formal presentations and lead group discussions on products for a broad range of Apple audiences. Guard product messaging and positioning across every customer touch point to pursue excellence. Support local PR teams for press briefings, analyst discussions, and influencers, addressing technical requests as required. Gather local customer, developer, and partner requirements to inform future product development. Maintain expert knowledge of competitive and third-party products and strategies; communicate Apple’s product positioning relative to competitors. Monitor emerging technology, consumer, and societal trends and recommend how products fit into those trends. Minimum Qualifications 7+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in technology, consumer electronics, hardware, or software industries. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience. Proficiency in English and Spanish. Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally. Preferred Qualifications Detailed knowledge of Apple ecosystem and the technology industry in Mexico and across Latin America. Experience and ability to synthesize technologies into product communication and translate features into consumer benefits for broad audiences including customers, media, analysts, and industry specialists. Press and media experience as a product spokesperson at national or regional levels. Strong attention to detail and ability to simplify, communicate effectively, and align partners in a dynamic market context. Ability to lead through influence, debate, and storytelling. Excellent analytical skills with planning and strategy experience. Knowledge of business drivers, strategies, and tactics as they play out in the market to guide action. Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively to meet shared objectives. Outstanding oral and written communication skills. Self-starter with creativity and critical thinking abilities.
