Our engineers develop their skills through working on diverse projects, our knowledge-sharing culture, a career mentoring program, and collaborating with top professionals in the industry.We offer unique opportunities with projects around the world to take you on a career-enhancing experience and adventure.About the JobThe Civil Designer Coordinator will coordinate the preparation of engineering design documents including AutoCAD & Civil 3D drawing packages, material quantity estimates, design reports and technical specifications. This role will also lead and coordinate the preparation of proposals, including reviewing client information, assessing scope of work, procedures and requirements and developing the approach to be undertaken, budgeted, scheduled and implemented.ResponsibilitiesDirects, leads and review the integration of technical activities and products related to design and engineering work in the office and on site.Prepare detailed proposals and schedules, planning and participating in site investigations, completing geotechnical and/or civil engineering analysis and design, preparing technical specifications and bid packages, overseeing construction projects.Maintain project documentation, including drawings, technical specifications and reports.Coordinate technical work within the local team, several disciplines and groups.Perform quality checks on designs.Represent the project team and present all elements of the technical design to clients.Communicate with other office leaders throughout the KP global group and help convey and facilitate the design requirements.RequirementsB.S. and/or M.S. degree in Civil Engineering.Bilingual in Spanish and English.More than 8 years of work experience.Experience using (or coordinating) AutoCAD Civil 3D and other similar technical software.Experience leading teams.Proven experience and ability for project/client management.Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated capability to work cooperatively within multidisciplinary teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr
