SAP MM/WM ConsultantThis position requires an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.It is important to mention that in some cases there will be required to participate in AMS support projects.Required QualificationsBachelor's / Engineering's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 7 years of experience with Information TechnologyThis position is based in Mexico (Mexico City / Monterrey or Guadalajara).The location for this position is Mexico and will be in a hybrid mode, candidate may need to travel to office (if required)Candidates must be willing to work from office at this location daily (if required)All applicants authorized to work in Mexico are encouraged to applyPreferred Qualifications:At least 7 years of experience in SAP MM/WM module including 2 S/4 HANA full life cycle project implementation.Domain in Purchasing, inventory, warehouse management processes, integration points with another SAP submodules, among othersExpertise in Integration processes with logistic third-party vendors (3PL)Some knowledge in Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) will be a plusAble to analyze business requirements, providing conceptual and detail design to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing detail specifications for development of ABAP custom programs, testing and implementing the automated solutionStrong hands-on experience in Logistics Execution, EDI/Idoc Integration and system integration areas.Knowledge and hands-on experience of B2b Integration and system to system integration of SAP through EDI/IDOC and other interface methods is essentialExpertise in SAP AMS support projects: L2 / L3 support, incident management, CMMi (desired)Extensive knowledge of SAP custom application programs, enhancements, BADIs/BAPIs, interfaces and user exits is essentialExperience in Process Industries, Medical Devices and Pharmaceutical IndustryExperience in Master data related projects and Enterprise Portal is desirableAbility to read ABAP codes is required.Writing of functional/technical specifications for ABAP custom solutions and interfacesWorking with the business users to define scope and gather business requirementsTesting and rollout of the final productAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and work on multiple projects simultaneouslyBe skilled in working with cross-functional teamsGood Analytical and Communication skillsGood Planning and Co-ordination skillsThe job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements
