The role We have a once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of the lean but talented team responsible for the growth, and on‑going development of our digital lending business in Mexico. IPF Group operates across Europe, Australia and Mexico at present and is made up of our Home Credit business (Provident) and IPF Digital. Our brand Creditea in Mexico is already established and one of the key players in the digital lending space in the market. You will focus on the continuous and healthy development of our digital business. You will have to think and operate in a flexible and agile way as your role will develop with the business. This business is already market leading, ambitious, and hungry for innovation. Although located in an operating market, you will work as part of the IPF Digital hub credit team but will have responsibility and focus just for the Mexican market. You will be a hands‑on, team‑working, and data‑driven analyst with the opportunity to work with different areas in Creditea to define and implement different strategies to boost the growth of our business. The responsibilities Support and participate in the definition of credit risk strategy by elaborating and delivering deep and sound analysis of the origination and portfolio performance. Extract and process data from various data sources to conduct portfolio analysis. Monitor the credit quality of the lending portfolio to identify emerging trends and risks. Prepare regular reports and decks on portfolio performance to effectively monitor and manage credit strategy. Conduct research and analysis around macroeconomic factors to detect alert trends. Support with analyzing, developing and implementing effective credit policies and procedures to guide lending decisions, risk management strategies and approval process. Assist in post implemented review of credit policy changes. Support with preparation of credit policy and processes documentation. Define and implement experiments to test new data sources to improve customer acquisition and credit risk strategy. Develop strong relationships within the team, other areas and functions and key partners to promote business growth in a healthy and sustainable way and improve credit risk assessment processes. So, what skills, knowledge, and experience do you have? 1+ years of experience in Credit Risk or Data Science functions. Basic knowledge of credit risk, credit analytics, credit scoring and credit processes principles. Basic knowledge of consumer credit risk (personal loans and credit cards) management. Basic knowledge of digital financial services environment. Proven experience handling big data and business intelligence tools. SQL and DHW usage (intermediate). MS Excel (Advanced) Analytical and passionate about manipulating big volumes of data to generate meaningful insights Creative and strategic approach when facing complex problems Able to synthesize analysis and results in a comprehensible way for different stakeholders Flexible and eager to roll sleeves up when needed Adaptable to a dynamic and fast‑paced way of work Strongly driven to continuously learn and improve Excellent team player. Bachelor’s / University in degree in STEM field or equivalent experience is a must.
