Job Description A Day in the Life Administrate local import and export processes for commercial and NCG, incl. Port to DC, cross-country DC moves, and cross-border shipments (both store and online) Administrate efficient handling of customs formalities in cross-region trades Timely prepare and administrate entries for customs clearance and support compliance with global rules, standards and regulations set by Global Trade & Customs Support opportunities to optimize regional customs and tax in line with local regulations and aligned with Global Trade & Customs department and strategies Communicate with state customs and other regulators on a day-to-day operational basis Support in all international transport matters (e.g. shipment tracing/monitoring, freight invoice reviewing etc.) Support initiatives/projects with expertise Closely collaborate with Tax and Accounting to ensure compliance with country requirements Qualifications Knowledge of import and export processes in the country across all types of cross-border flows Understanding of global Trade & Customs rules and regulations for regional execution Overview on relevant market environment and cross-border trade relationships Knowledge of international forwarding Coordination skills and "can do" attitude to effectively resolve day-to-day issues and drive smooth process support and administration Ability to collaborate and co-create with others Agile mindset with a positive attitude to change and meaningful growth Inclusive and empathetic towards others whilst encouraging diversity Ability to understand your impact to others and contribution to the bigger picture Must be fluent in English and local language Additional Information We value diverse backgrounds, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, and disability We pride ourselves on being a values-driven organization, guided by our 7 unique values that have been part of our success story for over 75 years You’ll have access to our Colleague Resource Groups (CRGs) to find community and networking opportunities among colleagues We are an inclusive company where you’re encouraged to be yourself at work You will have access to a large global talent community, where career growth and aspirations have no limits This job posting highlights the most critical responsibilities and requirements of the job and is not all-inclusive.
