Freight Forwarder Regional Vice President – GEODIS GEODIS is a worldwide transportation and logistics leader. The position is based in LATAM (Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru). Responsibilities Formulates, communicates and administers long‑range goals and objectives Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine region progress toward stated goals and objectives Accepts responsibility for the profitability of the assigned account(s) through accurate and timely preparation of financial budgets and forecasts Confers with various personnel to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions Manages customer account relationships to deliver overall customer satisfaction Assists the business development group in securing business with new customers or additional business with existing customers Manages operations management personnel by interviewing, hiring, training, directing, assigning work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining, addressing complaints and resolving problems Provides overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the region Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws Other duties as required and assigned Requirements Bachelor’s degree from a 4‑year college or university (master’s preferred) Minimum 8 to 11 years of related experience and/or training 10 years of experience with general freight forwarding (must) Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the general public Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Details Location – Position can be based in LATAM (Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru) Seniority level: Executive Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Management Industries: Warehousing and Storage; Freight and Package Transportation; Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Storage Crear una alerta de empleo para esta búsqueda #J-18808-Ljbffr
