Senior Automation Specialist Location: MEX, Mexico City – Hybrid – Full time. Overview Element employees make a difference in the lives of others every day. The Automation Specialist is responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, testing and implementing intelligent automation solutions that improve process efficiency, reduce operational costs, and drive organizational change with a process engineer mindset. Responsibilities Design, develop, test and implement automation workflows, scripts, and tools to improve efficiency across operational and business processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, operations, business units) to identify automation opportunities, gather requirements, and deliver scalable solutions. Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize existing automation solutions to ensure reliability and performance. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field. 3–5 years of experience in automation development, process improvement, or systems integration. Experience with automation tools in RPA (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, or similar), scripting (Python, PowerShell), Smartsheet, Alteryx and other workflow automation platforms. Reading and writing medium complex SQL statements for automation optimization and analysis. Developing enterprise-grade solutions using AI agents and custom GPT-based models. Working knowledge of prompt engineering techniques and model tuning for AI-driven solutions. Practice incorporating LLMs as part of automation solutions. Exposure with Snowflake cloud data storage platform and AI tools.
