Computer Engineering - AI Data Trainer at Alignerr Base pay: $35.00/hr – $60.00/hr Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week Employment type: Hourly Contract About The Job Alignerr partners with leading AI research teams to build and train cutting‑edge AI models. As an AI Data Trainer, you’ll design advanced computer engineering challenges, author precise ground‑truth solutions, and audit AI‑generated code and logic for technical accuracy and efficiency. What You’ll Do Develop complex problems across domains such as RISC‑V/ARM architecture, FPGA development, memory management, and hardware‑software co‑design. Author ground‑truth solutions, including assembly code, HDL snippets, and architectural diagrams, to serve as “golden responses.” Conduct technical auditing of AI‑generated C/C++, Verilog, VHDL code, gate‑level designs, and OS kernels. Refine AI reasoning by identifying logical fallacies and providing structured feedback. Requirements Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Strong foundational knowledge of Computer Architecture, Embedded Systems, Digital Logic Design, or Operating Systems. Excellent analytical writing skills for conveying complex technical concepts clearly. High attention to detail for bit‑level operations, timing, and documentation. AI experience is not required. Preferred Prior experience with data annotation, data quality, or evaluation systems. Proficiency with engineering software (e.g., SolidWorks, MATLAB, ANSYS).
