In this role, you will design, build, and launch production ‑ grade, multi ‑ agent systems and conversational experiences, spanning orchestration, RAG design, model serving, real ‑ time inference, and observability. You will work with state ‑ of ‑ the ‑ art Large Language Models (LLMs), agentic AI frameworks, and modern engineering practices to deliver solutions that meet real customer and business needs.This role is ideal for candidates with foundational knowledge in AI/ML and software engineering who are eager to learn and grow. You will assist in building AI-driven solutions, working with modern frameworks and tools to support real-world applications.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain Agentic AI systems using frameworks such as OpenAI [RP1] , LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, Google ADK or similarDevelop Conversational AI bots and assistants across multiple channels (chat or embedded apps)Integrate LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.) with APIs, databases, and enterprise systemsImplement memory, retrieval, and reasoning modules to make agents context-aware and goal-orientedOptimize prompt design, chain-of-thought reasoning, and agent orchestration for reliability and performanceCollaborate with product and research teams to define AI-driven workflows and use casesContinuously evaluate and integrate new AI libraries, frameworks, and model APIsApply RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and tool-using techniques for improved factual accuracyMonitor agent performance, analyze logs, and apply feedback loops for continuous improvementFollow best practices for AI ethics, security, and data privacy in all AI solutionsQualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience1–2 years of experience in software development or AI/ML projectsBasic proficiency in Python and familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScriptExposure to AI/ML frameworks (OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.) is a plusUnderstanding of software engineering fundamentals (version control, CI/CD, testing)Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker)Knowledge of vector databases and embeddings (Pinecone, FAISS, etc.)Exposure to NLP concepts and generative AI applicationsStrong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologiesAbility to work effectively across cross ‑ functional teams and global time zones, with strong communication skills and the ability to influence both technical and non ‑ technical stakeholdersEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
