Role Overview: The Vice President of Sales is a senior internal leadership role responsible for owning and scaling Pearl Talent’s entire sales and business development function. This role exists to drive net-new client acquisition, improve funnel conversion, and build a repeatable, high‑performing sales engine for Pearl itself. You will lead and coach Pearl’s SDRs and AEs, remain hands‑on in closing deals, and continuously optimize sales strategy through data and experimentation. The work is execution‑heavy, cross‑functional, and highly accountable. This role is ideal for a sales leader who thrives in fast‑paced environments and wants direct ownership of revenue growth. Your Impact You will directly drive Pearl Talent’s ARR growth by increasing lead‑to‑sale conversion rates and closing new client accounts. Your leadership will elevate sales execution, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline health across the organization. You will build scalable sales processes that enable consistent, predictable revenue generation. Through coaching and optimization, you will raise team performance while maintaining a white‑glove experience for Pearl’s clients. Your work will materially shape Pearl’s growth trajectory and market position. Areas of Responsibility: Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth Own Pearl Talent’s full sales funnel, from lead generation to close. Improve lead‑to‑sale conversion rates through messaging, qualification, and process optimization. Close high‑value client deals while refining sales positioning. Launch and test new outbound and inbound sales initiatives. Team Leadership & Coaching Build, train, and manage a high‑performance internal sales team (SDRs and AEs). Conduct regular 1:1s, call reviews, and performance coaching. Run daily or weekly team enablement and learning sessions. Develop SDRs into strong closers through structured training. Process, Systems & Optimization Own CRM accuracy, pipeline management, and reporting for Pearl Talent. Refine sales playbooks, SOPs, workflows, and qualification frameworks. Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies across Pearl’s sales process. Implement data‑driven improvements to sales execution. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner with marketing to align lead generation, messaging, and campaigns. Collaborate with operations and client success to ensure smooth client onboarding. Maintain a premium sales experience for Pearl’s clients. Must‑Haves (Required) 5+ years of experience in B2B sales or revenue leadership roles. Proven track record of driving net‑new client acquisition. Experience managing and scaling internal sales teams. Strong understanding of funnel metrics, conversion optimization, and pipeline management. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. Ability to work full‑time during US Eastern Time hours. High ownership mindset and comfort operating in fast‑paced environments. Nice‑to‑Haves (Preferred) Experience in recruitment, staffing, or talent marketplaces. Background in startups or high‑growth companies. Experience improving sub‑20% conversion funnels. Familiarity with performance‑based sales compensation models.
