Job Description The Lead Resource Manager demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. In this role you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long‑term business goals. Essential Functions / Responsibilities Responsible for resource planning and execution to meet customer and business metrics Direct process / product improvement programs and provide process method excellence throughout the organization. Interface with the Customer Service Center 7X24 Hr for flow escalation Develop long range forecast for site resource needs Develop and execute short and long‑range resource plans based on resource forecasts and account business commitments including recruitment, skills reviews, and resource development through advance level training Ensure compliance with company policies Control office and field expenses Responsible for meeting all established cost, quality, and delivery commitments Ensure assigned employees are aware / comply with all Wabtec, customer and applicable policies, procedures, rules and regulations Work tight and together with EHS, Quality, Materials and Lean leading the accomplishments of the business plans. Create an atmosphere of trust and people development at all levels of the organization. Manage local finance budget. Customer main point of contact locally. Qualifications / Requirements Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college. (Industrial engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Mechatronics Engineer). Fluent in English (80%). At least 3 additional years of field/operations experience in Industrial Systems Installation and Maintenance. Desired Characteristics Strong customer service mindset. Ability to lead in a global environment. Knowledge of IFS industrial information systems. Knowledge of industrial products (Drives and Controls, PLC’s/Automation, or Power Delivery). Six Sigma training is preferred. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
