YOUR TASKS Job Objective Ensure equipment overall management after SOP. Planning, controlling and monitoring of all maintenance related activities regarding production equipment at the location to achieve the relevant KPIs (e.g. technical availability, preventive maintenance according to HELLA regulations) and targets. Execute technical availability improvement, FPY improvement and cost improvement. Duties and Responsibilities A. Maintenance tasks Timely technical support on trouble shooting with complex malfunction. Prepare maintenance schedules and coordinate measures to optimize maintenance, servicing and repair work (cycles, materials, expenditure). Release the equipment preventative maintenance instruction. Ensure that maintenance is done accordingly to the needs of the location regarding know-how, availability, shifts and spare parts. Define and initiate the procurement of spare parts (quantity and quality) to ensure resource availability, setup, maintain the spare part management within the location. Evaluate activities carried out in the maintenance system (e.g., feedback, damage code, error description), where necessary derive measures for resource optimization. Direct the work to be carried out for the reorganization, modification and maintenance of production line, possibly line optimization (cycle time, TA) in consultation with relevant department and supplier. Develop, establish and support concepts for autonomous maintenance within the location Set up, maintain and control the spare part management within the location. Providing technical advice to those responsible in the event of complaints and modifications to machines. Support further TPM activities, such as Six Sigma projects with knowledge, feedback, ideas and recommendations. Support Automatization and Process Technology department with the setup of new production equipment and technology. Follow up and improve the efficiency of equipment to increase the productivity. Draw up the maintenance guideline and lesson learn with TSA/supplier in new line build phase. Provide support and advising in equipment acquisition and modification. Moderate the maintenance lean workshop for maintenance improvement activities (PM instruction and time improvement, detail PM activity standardization, and so on…). B. Analyzing, planning, rationalizing Analyzing and diagnosing faults with the aid of diagnosis systems, and specification of malfunction on complex operating equipment. Preparation of suggestions for eliminating weak-spots and avoiding damage (e.g. for new purchases/designs). Preparation of servicing plans and coordinating measures for the optimization of maintenance, inspection and servicing work (cycles, materials, expenditure). Planning and calculating servicing measures, as well as dismantling, transporting, assembling and commissioning complex operating equipment (new plant, conversions, transfers). Evaluating production failure, if appropriate deriving and implementing improvement measures in agreement with the production divisions. Documenting and evaluating activities carried out in the servicing system (feedback, damage code, fault description), if necessary, initiating measures for optimizing operating equipment.
