Key Accountabilities Oversee monthly closing schedule and ensure close timelines are met. Review and approve higher risk account reconciliations completed by shared services. Ensure internal control procedures are followed, provide direction on audit scope, and support SOX testing requirements within the region. Perform analytical review of business unit results. Serve as the primary regional controllership contact between external auditors, shared services, and internal audit. Coordinate and support the regional statutory financial statement process and approve GAAP to statutory adjustments. Provide primary finance support for ad‑hoc tax audits/reviews within the region. Provide accounting oversight and support to regional stakeholders, including supporting local controllers and finance managers within the region. Lead ad‑hoc controllership projects in the region such as system changes, new standard adoption, and applicable M&A activity. Other duties and special projects as required. Required Management/Technical Experience Minimum of 5 years of accounting/finance experience. Public accounting and/or public company manufacturing experience. Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance; MBA or similar a plus. CPA or similar certification preferred. Proficient in US and local GAAP. Oracle and HFM experience a plus. Fluent in Spanish and English. Capable of communicating effectively across functions and with senior leaders. Ability to build professional and productive relationships within the organization.
