Descripción del trabajoThe Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's overall supply chain strategy and operations in order to maximize process efficiency and productivity. In addition, they play a crucial role in developing and maintaining good relationships with vendors and distributors.General ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day supply chain activities to maximize the efficiency, reliability, and timeliness of the organization's supply chainManage and monitor all supply chain activities to ensure a cost-effective flow of merchandise from suppliers to customersExamine existing procedures or opportunities for streamlining activities to meet product distribution needsSuggest solutions for process improvements and implement solutions in a timely mannerLiaise with functional and operational area managers to ensure ensure supply chain strategies are integrated with other parts of the businessOrganize and oversee inventory by keeping a detailed database of available inventory and expected usage per projectSelect and manage ongoing relationships with major suppliers, vendors, or sub-contractors to minimize costs and ensure satisfactory standards of serviceManage and develop staff to ensure resources are used effectively and work schedules and targets are metExperience / QualificationsA university degree and 7-10 years of experienceAbility to lead, coach, and develop team membersHolds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standardsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demandsStrong communication skills; oral, written and presentationStrong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve resultsStrong personal and professional ethical values and integrityProficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customersSmarterTogetherCollaborating at Sensata means working with some of the world's most talented people in an enriching environment that is constantly pushing towards the next best thing - Employees work across functions, countries and cultures gaining new perspectives through mutual respect and open communication - As OneSensata, we are working together to make things work together #J-18808-Ljbffr
