Just your Friendly Neighborhood US IT Recruiter at KPG99 INC Location: 100% Remote (Near Shore)Duration: 6+ Months (Will be a Long Term Contract) Must Have Skills: Proficiency with databases (e.g., Snowflake, DB2, Redshift) and dimensional modeling. Hands‑on experience with AWS architecture and services (Lambda, Glue, Kinesis, Firehose, Athena, S3, Cloudwatch, DynamoDB, API Gateway). Proficient in Python, SQL, and scripting (e.g., Unix shell scripts). Experience building feature engineering pipelines. Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, and CloudFormation. Knowledge of user authentication and authorization across systems, servers, and environments. Experience with Tecton or Sagemaker or similar feature stores. Experience with NoSQL databases. Ability to take ownership and proactively ensure delivery timelines are met. Good to Have Skills: Experience in data pipeline development using modern ETL tools, specifically Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica IICS. Experience with Airflow. Technical Qualifications: 6+ years of experience within the field of application/platform engineering or related technical work including business intelligence, analytics. 4+ years of experience with AWS Senior Cloud Data Engineering, management, maintenance, or architecting, implementing best practices and industry standards. Experience with data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift or similar. Strong knowledge and established experience with AWS services including but not limited to: S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, Kinesis, Data Pipelines, EMR, Step Functions, VPC, IAM, and Security Groups. Experience with DB technologies (e.g., SQL, Python). Experience with CI/CD tools, pipelines, and scripting for automation (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, CloudFormation, Terraform). High degree of knowledge in IAM Roles and Policies. Strong knowledge configuring AWS cloud monitoring and alerts for cloud resource availability. Strong scripting experience using PowerShell and/or Python. High degree of knowledge in PaaS and SaaS application performance. Understand enterprise level application architecture diagrams and IT security requirements.
