Process Engineer What you’ll do: Improvement and development of the LW Process. Follow the 1 Product 1 Process (1P1P) strategy. Create process documentation (SWI, Process parameter control, Setup, PFMEA). Support site activities to Autonomous Manufacturing Group. Provide proper follow-up of Policy Deployment actions. Process improvement & Autonomous Manufacturing Center metrics. Analysis of variables & adjust process. PLC Knowledge. Experience in Automation with Robot. Design, execution, testing and monitoring of process results of quality. Develop best practices in order to process improvement. Updating of PFMEA. Process improvement to reduce the scrap. DOE. Reception of new products (documentation, equipments). ECN creation in Manit. Engineering change standardization. Establishes and submits processing requirements to be met in designing and acquiring processing equipment (Manufacturing Process Specification). Development of new launch products programs - SWI, Setup creation. Troubleshoots and solves production process/equipment problems. Designs and plans layout for material. Plans sequence of operations and specifies procedures for preparing process materials. Requires knowledge of all customer-specific requirements. Knowledge in drawing interpretation 2D and Solid Works. Knowledge of troubleshooting tools. Good in time study, line balancing and ergonomics. Good interaction with different departments (QC, Finance, Engineering, New launches, Security department). Knowledge in LW Process. Conducts tests and measurements throughout the various stages of production to determine control over variables. Provides feedback/recommendations to leadership as appropriate. Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements. What is required: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering. JDE Oracle Knowledge. Experience in quality criteria for steering wheel. Excellent computer skills; proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word. SolidWorks Knowledge. Strong interpersonal skills; personable, able to comfortably relate to a variety of people. Strong customer service skills. Cross cultural sensitivity. Problem solving skills. Sound judgment in making decisions and when to elevate issues. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent organizational and planning skills. Strong time management skills and ability to work independently aligned with a global strategy. Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills. Ability to share knowledge and work in a strong team-oriented environment. Detail oriented.
