Engineering Manager – Howmet Aerospace Join to apply for the ENGINEERING MANAGER role at Howmet Aerospace. You will be responsible for ensuring design, maintenance, continuous improvement and compliance in our manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Review and maintain material specifications, product drawings, process roadmaps, and manufacturing procedures. Maintain machinery and building maintenance, track preventive, planned and corrective maintenance programs, and support continuous improvement tasks. Act in the absence of the Maintenance Manager, handling assigned activities. Drive continuous improvement of tools and manufacturing methods. Collaborate with Management to ensure compliance with plant‑level metrics. Identify opportunities to reduce established times. Work with production teams to address manufacturing processes and damage problems. Support root‑cause analysis of persistent problems. Direct and supervise installations of new products or projects within the locality. Supervise the maintenance of Oracle system files and their effective upkeep. Ensure quality and standards of the department are maintained. Handle additional activities and responsibilities as needed. Collaborate with Quality Engineering to establish manufacturing compliance according to customer specifications. Promote safe work practices, health, well‑being and environmental compliance per MASS regulations and supervisor instructions. Report all incidents (injuries, spills, fires, property damage, near‑misses). Implement engineering systems to improve each manufacturing area. Coordinate with Manufacturing and Quality‑Tool Room departments to solve delivery, tooling and rejection issues. Monitors customer satisfaction and effective communication. Manage key projects within the organization. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution. Minimum 10 years of engineering experience in manufacturing. Minimum 5 years of engineering managerial experience. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Industrial Engineering. Master’s Degree in Engineering. Experience in high‑volume, discrete manufacturing of formed or metal components. Experience in aerospace fastener or automotive industry. Demonstrated customer interaction experience. Demonstrated project management experience. Experience managing capital budgets. Knowledge MS Office, AutoCAD, and Oracle (preferred). Interpretation and reading of plans. Knowledge of engineering improvement implementation systems. Advanced business conversational English.
