Position Overview The AP Specialist processes, records, verifies, and pays invoices for goods and services on a timely basis. Responsibilities Responsible for the daily processing of overhead invoices into the accounts payable system. Process, record, verify, and pay invoices for goods and services on a timely basis. Prepare and audit payments sent via check, ACH, and wires. Respond to vendor queries, reconcile vendor statements, and communicate with vendors regarding payment status. Manage and maintain positive internal customer and external business partner relationships. Assist in month‑end closing process for AP work queues. Customer and customer credit master record maintenance. Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents. Collaborate with other departments and locations regarding vendor payments. Sort and distribute mail. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required. Qualifications Relevant educational background and professional experience in finance or accounting. Extensive knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices. Minimum of 3‑5 years of previous bookkeeping and accounting experience. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics a plus. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, focused on achieving results.
