The System Test Engineer plays a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of automotive electronic control units (ECUs) through rigorous and methodical testing practices. This position focuses on applying and evolving testing methods, performing detailed test analysis, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure consistent and effective test execution across all levels. YOUR TASKS Apply structured testing methods and analysis techniques at System testing level. Design, review, and execute test cases based on requirements, specifications, and functional safety standards. Analyze test results, identify defects, and support root cause investigations in collaboration with development teams. Contribute to the definition and improvement of test strategies, plans, and procedures. Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and test results. Collaborate with domain experts, developers, and other test engineers to ensure comprehensive coverage and alignment. Support the integration of automated testing tools and frameworks where applicable. Document test findings, lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in peer reviews and knowledge‑sharing sessions to promote best practices. Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISTQB, ASPICE, ISO 26262, and ISO 14229. Support ASPICE assessments and audits by providing accurate and complete test documentation. Foster a collaborative team environment and contribute to cross‑domain communication and alignment.
