We strive to provide a spectrum of cloud deployment options for our customers with our own infrastructure, partners and private‑cloud infrastructures.The Regional Delivery Experts (RDE) team focuses on de‑escalation or escalation avoidance for ECS customers, with the main focus on Go Green plans. RDE team members are technical experts who collaborate with SAP stakeholders and customers to drive de‑escalation.To increase delivery strength in the region, ECS Delivery looks for experts to be part of the RDE team who are experienced in SAP Basis, database, and server management with prior customer‑facing experience.THE ROLEDrive continuous improvement to increase operation availability and efficiency. Infrastructure landscape re‑architecture and new technology adoption are also important. Global thinking and a strong customer focus are essential.Act as SAP BO & BASIS Application Administrator, driving critical topics related to escalation handling, incident management, problem management, service request build, migration, go‑live, high availability, disaster recovery, backup & restore.EXPECTATIONS AND TASKSAvoid customer escalations by using an early‑warning dashboard.Drive continuous improvement in ECS architecture, delivery and tools enhancement.De‑escalate already escalated customers (RED) or potential RED customers.Address customer concerns and create RED‑to‑GREEN plans.Engage directly with the customer alongside the Client Delivery Manager and Technical Service Manager to de‑escalate situations.SKILLS AND COMPETENCIESStrong experience as SAP BO Application Administrator in Global Operations and SAP BASIS experience.Exposure to automation tools, scripting or processes.Ability to install and upgrade BO, plan, set up and implement.Provide technical expertise and support in optimizing and tuning systems – performance optimization.Application security, backup & recovery strategies, performance tuning, system copies, export‑import, high availability and disaster recovery strategy.Willingness to learn other SAP product administrations such as Cloud Connector, S/4HANA, etc.Organize and structure day‑2‑day documentation.EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONSAt least 3 years of related professional experience.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Management or related field.Cloud knowledge (experience working in private‑cloud domains such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP).Professional certification in SAP BASIS, SAP Business Objects and exposure to project management (PMP, ITIL) is preferred.EXPECTED TRAVEL10 % travel expected.SAP is committed to Equal Employment Opportunity and provides accessibility accommodations to applicants with physical and/or mental disabilities.
