Process Engineer

Overview 3 weeks ago Be among the first 25 applicants. We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer to join Sandalwood Engineering & Ergonomics. This individual will be responsible for the process design, operation and implementation of tasks for the client that they will support. The successful candidate will be able to improve industrial processes in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability. In your day‑to‑day activities, you’ll have the opportunity to work with multiple customers, as a consultant and trusted partner in Sandalwood’s areas of expertise of Injury Prevention, Systems Engineering & Systems Integration. You’ll help customers innovate, solve their current struggles and guide them with the power of Sandalwood's deeply ingrained subject matter expertise. Responsibilities Well organized and attentive to detail, good analytical skills, report production and interpretation Strong sense of drive, initiative, and ability to manage simultaneous tasks/responsibilities and strong work ethic Well‑developed communication skills (both oral & written) Good analysis capacity and sound judgment and problem‑solving skills Able to work well under pressure / in deadline‑driven environments Knowledge with PLCs data communication protocols by Ethernet Prior work experience in automotive manufacturing facilities is a plus Knowledge with Ignition by Inductive Automation software is a plus Develop, configure and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start‑up and certification Assess processes, take measurements and interpret data Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output Provide process documentation and operating instructions Requirements + 1 Year’s Experience in manufacturing Mechanical engineer, Mechatronics engineer or Electromechanical engineer degree Automotive customer portals knowledge Experience in automotive industry company English advanced, fluent written and spoken technical English Strong knowledge on problem‑resolution techniques in the automotive industry (5‑Why’s, 8‑D, PDCA, DMAIC, etc.) Basic knowledge on PPAP processes Organizational and planning skills Strong communication skills to interact with different level of members within the organization Teamwork, proactive, with sense of urgency & customer‑service attitude to drive customer satisfaction (internal & external) Working under pressure and time availability Strong negotiation skills to drive timing targets The ability to report project status accurately and in timely fashion to manager‑level management Electronic, Mechatronic, Electrical Engineering or equivalent Advanced English skills, verbal and written Knowledge of PLCs, Ethernet, TCP/IP communication protocols Tasks assigned / Work priorities Meet program deliverables on time and schedule Provide regular (daily, weekly, etc.) tracking status to the designated team leader Attend designated meetings to provide status reports Capture and register for all production and quality line for the project implementations and engineering updates/upgrades Manage within master timing charts, with corrective actions and recovery plans identified where needed Support to the production line for all tryouts runs and installation periods Flexibility to work overtime and on weekends Accomplish the department objectives addressed by the client using problem‑solving technique Benefits Health Care Plan Paid Time Off Training & Development Seniority level Associate Employment type Full‑time Job function IT Services and IT Consulting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Sandalwood Engineering & Ergonomics by 2×. #J-18808-Ljbffr
