In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for analyzing business processes, translating data into insights, and supporting the design and optimization of systems that drive operational and strategic success. You’ll work cross-functionally to gather requirements, define KPIs, deliver analysis, reports, dashboards and support technical implementations that enhance data-driven decision-making across the organization.The ideal candidate is not only analytically strong but also able to understand business processes, engage with stakeholders, and bridge the gap between technical teams and business users.ResponsibilitiesData Analytics & ReportingExtract, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets) to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insightsBuild and maintain scalable dashboards and self-service reporting tools using Tableau, Power BI, or similar platformsApply statistical techniques and predictive modeling to support forecasting, segmentation, and optimization initiativesSupport A/B testing and data experimentation efforts across business unitsPresent data-driven findings clearly to stakeholders, both technical and non-technicalBusiness Systems AnalysisCollaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for new analytics tools, reports, or process improvementsAnalyze and map current-state ("as-is") business processes and propose future-state ("to-be") solutionsTranslate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications for reporting systems and data solutionsParticipate in user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring data tools meet functional and performance expectationsAct as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT/data engineering to align system design with business goalsHelp assess the impact of proposed changes to existing systems, and recommend enhancements or workaroundsCross-functional CollaborationWork with product managers, engineers, and data teams to align data efforts with business prioritiesLead or support project planning, task estimation, and timeline tracking for data-related initiativesMentor junior team members and support knowledge-sharing across the teamQualifications & CompetenciesBachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field2–5 years of experience in data analytics, business systems analysis, or a hybrid analytics/IT roleProficient in SQL and/or Python (or R) for data extraction, transformation, and analysisStrong understanding of business processes and experience translating them into technical requirementsExperience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and reporting best practicesFamiliarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies and working in cross-functional project teamsSolid knowledge of statistical methods, data modeling concepts, and basic predictive analyticsExposure to ERP, CRM, or other enterprise business systems is a plusComfortable working with version control tools like GitExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to present data and system findings to stakeholdersStrong organizational and project management skills; ability to handle multiple initiative concurrentlyExperience creating business and functional requirements documents (BRDs/FRDs)Familiarity with business process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart)Exposure to system integration or data migration projectsHands-on experience with workflow tools or process automation (e.g., Alteryx, Power Automate)This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, systems, and business strategy - bringing together technical skills and business insight to drive real impact.We encourage you to read our Candidate Privacy Notice.
