The Role1. Strategic Leadership: Define and implement the Surety growth strategy for Mexico, aligned with regional and global goals.Ensure sustainable business performance through portfolio diversification and technical excellence. 2. Business Development and Client Management:Lead commercial development with local and multinational clients across target industries.Strengthen relationships with local and international surety markets to enhance capacity and competitiveness.Collaborate with other WTW specialties and segments, to deliver integrated client solutions. 3. People Leadership and Development:Lead, coach, and develop the Surety team in Mexico, fostering technical expertise, collaboration, and accountability.Promote internal growth, succession, and cross-functional engagement. 4. Operational and Technical Oversight:Supervise the structuring, issuance, and management of surety programs in compliance with WTW standards and local regulations.Drive process optimization and leverage of digital tools. 5. Market Representation and Positioning:Represent WTW in industry forums, associations, and technical discussions, when necessary.Serve as the key technical and commercial reference for Surety within the Mexican marketThe RequirementsEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or Economics.Postgraduate studies in Insurance, Risk Management, or Leadership are a plus. Experience:Minimum 10 years in Surety, Financial Lines, or related fields.At least 5 years in leadership or senior commercial roles within the insurance or reinsurance industry.Proven track record in business development, client management, and market positioning. Key Competencies:Strategic and commercial leadership.Strong negotiation and influencing skills.Analytical and results-driven mindset.Team development and people management.Ability to work in multicultural, matrix environments.Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
