About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Engineer to join our IT & Cybersecurity team. In this role, you will be a key element in protecting the organization’s systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. You will work closely with our Infrastructure Team to support and execute a variety of technical and procedural security tasks that ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our digital assets.________________________________________Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and respond to alerts from security tools (SIEM, EDR, firewalls, etc.)Perform daily security checks, log reviews, and vulnerability scansSupport manufacturing computers and OT security requirementsIncident Detection and ResponseConduct Cybersecurity investigationsSecurity Architecture and DesignImplementation and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and standardsImplement and Support Network Security InitiativesInvestigating new Security TrendsConduct security awareness activities and phishing simulationsPatch management validation and endpoint hardeningSupport audits and compliance‑related documentationSupport secure configuration and baseline assessments across systems and applicationsDesign and documents risk assessmentsCreate playbooks and update technical/security documentationTake leadership on different types of Cybersecurity Projects (EDR implementation / DLP implementation / Cybersecurity Awareness / Backups and DRP / Risk Registry / Vulnerability Scan / NAC / SOC / others)________________________________________Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or equivalent experience2+ Years experience in Cybersecurity fieldExperience of Network Security concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Web Filtering, EDL, Zero Trust, etc)Understanding of common cyber threats and attack vectorsExpertise in Security Tools like vulnerability scanners, EDR solutions, Monitoring tools, DLP, NAC, SOC, Pen Test, others)English Spoken and WrittenEagerness to continue learning within the cybersecurity field________________________________________Preferred QualificationsCertifications in the IT and Cybersecurity fieldsExperience with different security toolsScripting experience (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) is a plusExperience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)________________________________________Soft SkillsStrong analytical and troubleshooting skillsHigh attention to detail and sense of urgencyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamEffective communication and documentation skillsStrong ethics and trustworthiness in handling sensitive information #J-18808-Ljbffr
