Reporting to the Manager, Software Development, your role will feature plenty of technical challenges and opportunities to improve the practice and process of software development at Orium.Note: this is a 6-month contract position.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with other developers, designers, and team members, creating and implementing project workPrioritize and estimate work to be done alongside designers and the Engagement Manager to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget. Be transparent about progressBuild out template components, with CSS, and some JS needed ideally (like Svelte JS plugins, vanilla JS for some components like autocompletion)Write custom JavaScript plugins for custom form components and other widgets.Proactively update stakeholders on project progress and decision-making rationaleDocument and diagram designs to communicate with project stakeholdersSkills And Qualifications5+ years of industry experience as a front-end Drupal developerDrupal, PHP, and Laravel framework experienceDrupal 8/9/10 theming and FE background: Twig, theme hooks, preprocessCustom module development and backend Drupal competenceTailwind CSS frameworkExperience with component libraries such as Fractal and StorybookExcellent JS/ES6 skillsIs the Role a Fit for You?The Software Developer role emphasizes team collaboration and leadership in your area of expertise.
