Bilingual Paralegal

Descripción del trabajoIn this role, you will support a litigation law firm team, assisting them with various tasks including client intake, legal research, case discovery, legal writing, client liaison, court filings, and legal document preparation. You will join a successful law firm in the US and be assigned to work on personal injury and criminal cases. You'll be working 50 hrs/week during American business hours and get paid weekly.Requisitos y ResponsabilidadesCase management through all stages of litigation, up to and including mediation, settlement, and trialCalendar management, including managing attorney calendar, calendaring deadlines, statutes, coordinating and scheduling depositions, mediations, hearings, and other appearancesExperience in filing and e‑filing in State, Appellate, and Federal CourtsExperience in propounding and responding to discoveryExperience drafting pleadings, motions, correspondence, memoranda, notices, and other legal documentsExperience in case‑management database(s) and documenting all actions related to case activityProvide excellent customer service while speaking to clients including frequent verbal and written case‑related updatesProvide accurate translation between attorney and clientsCalificaciones y RequisitosExperience in criminal law is a mustExperience in personal injury is a plusFluent in advanced American English, written and oralBachelor's degree in Law or/and a Juris Doctor degreeExperience in conducting legal intakes, managing calendars, and scheduling appointmentsExperience working as a paralegal to a law firm for 2+ yearsExperience in legal research, case discovery, and legal writingExperience using legal software like Clio, LexisNexis, MyCaseExcellent personal presentation and telephone manner#J-*****-Ljbffr #J-18808-Ljbffr
