This role is critical in managing medical documentation, coordinating with healthcare providers, and ensuring timely access to records that support our clients’ cases. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical records handling, billing coordination, and administrative support within legal or healthcare settings. 🛠️ Key Responsibilities 📑 Records Management: Request, track, and organize medical records, billing statements, and treatment summaries from hospitals, clinics, and providers. 🗂️ Documentation Oversight: Maintain accurate logs of treatment timelines, provider contacts, and outstanding records. 📞 Provider Communication: Liaise with medical offices to follow up on pending requests, clarify billing details, and confirm treatment dates. 🧾 Billing Coordination: Review and summarize medical bills for attorney review, flag discrepancies, and ensure completeness. 📅 Treatment Tracking: Monitor ongoing medical care for clients, update case files with new appointments, procedures, and recovery notes. 📧 Administrative Support: Draft emails, manage intake forms, and assist with organizing case-related medical documentation. 🧠 Confidentiality & Compliance: Ensure all communications and records are handled in compliance with HIPAA and firm protocols. 📚 Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or relevant healthcare/administrative certification preferred. Minimum 1–2 years of experience in medical records, billing, or legal support. Familiarity with personal injury case workflows and terminology is a plus.
