About the role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Investment Banking Associate to join our US client’s team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, particularly in the industrials and possess excellent analytical and financial modeling skills. Key Responsibilities Financial Analysis and Modeling: Perform advanced financial modeling for software companies, including P&L analysis, cash flow analysis, P&L projections, leveraged return waterfall for multiple stakeholders, and familiarity with carried interest hurdles. Financial Projections: Create and analyze financial projections and proformas to support transaction analysis and client recommendations. Pitch Deck Creation: Utilize expertise in MS PowerPoint to create compelling investment "pitch decks" and "information memorandums" for client presentations. Transaction Support: Assist in all aspects of the transaction process, including due diligence, valuation analysis, and deal structuring. Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and potential investment opportunities. Client Interaction: Collaborate with senior team members to communicate with clients, addressing their needs and providing insightful financial advice. Documentation: Ensure that all transaction documents and reports are accurate, well-organized, and detail-oriented. Skills: Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience working with a private equity firm or investment bank is a must. Experience in the Industrials or Business Services sector. Expertise in advanced financial modeling techniques. Proficiency in MS PowerPoint for creating investment pitch decks and information memorandums. Full-time: 9 am to 5 pm EST, Monday to Friday.
