The company specializes in site development, utilities, roadway construction, and infrastructure improvements, providing high-quality, cost-effective solutions from design through project completion. Their team is dedicated to technical excellence, client satisfaction, and delivering projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.ResponsibilitiesPerform bank and credit card reconciliations for multiple entitiesCoordinate research and correction of outstanding or disputed transactionsRecord daily cash deposits, intercompany transfers and GL transactionsAssist with balance sheet account reconciliations (deposits, prepaids, due to/from accounts, Notes Payable)Manage credit card expense tracking application (FYLE)Assist with fixed asset, prepaid schedules, as neededPerform medical benefit reconciliationsPerform intercompany reconciliationsRecord payroll transactions into QuickbooksAssist the CFO and Sr. Accountant with monthly and quarterly closeoutsAssist AR with reports and/or client communications (backup)Qualifications, Skills, and Key CompetenciesTop 3 requirements:BS degree in accounting3+ years of general accounting experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSoftware RequirementsWorking knowledge of Quickbooks (desktop version) and/or Sage IntacctHardware RequirementsPC computer and 2 monitors.A device with a minimum of 16GB RAMA Windows-based device (no Mac computers)Stable, reliable internet and a consistent, dedicated work setup at all timesOther requirements relevant to the clientFrequent travel or relocation should be discouraged unless they can guarantee strong connectivityTimeline and Day-by-Day ExpectationsDays 1-30Handling basic GL accounts for specific companyAssistance with bank and credit card reconciliationsWorking knowledge of existing schedulesWorking knowledge of internal sharefile networkIndependent handling of communications with internal team members (accounting, billing, PM)Days 31-60Independent handling of all GL accounts for all entitiesAccount reconciliations and account balance confirmationsHandling FYLE application and corresponding staff communicationsEntering payroll transactionsAssisting with intercompany and benefit reconciliationsAssisting with AR communications and/or reportsDays 61-90Handling of the assigned tasks independently, with additional training as required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
