Customer Business Support (CBS) is part of Global GTM Operations, which reports into Corporate Portfolio and Strategy to Exec area. What you’ll do Position title: SAP CBS Americas - Delivery Operations Next Gen Location: LAC - Mexico Purpose and Objective of Position SAP solutions are the backbone of the most successfully run businesses worldwide: today more than 50% of the world’s business transactions touch an SAP system. The role of the Project Operations Intern is to support a senior Project Manager, Portfolio Manager or Program Manager in all aspects of the project life cycle including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and close using our SAP tools and Project Management Methodology. This internship position is responsible for performing a basic function to support SAP Services delivery execution on customer engagements. Responsibilities Assist with time entry consolidations and billing reconciliations Assist with the coordination of project documentation and project creation in our SAP systems Assist with tasks associated with monitoring and controlling the project Assist with revenue forecasting of a project Assist with analysis of the project Assist with maintaining necessary master and transactional data that supports local and global project reporting Work with consultants and project managers to ensure accuracy of project reporting Capture project metrics and ensure they are clearly communicated to appropriate SAP or customer team members Learn our SAP Tools and Systems Expectations and Tasks Work as part of a team, build credible relationships with peers and clients Analyze plan and execute a variety of tasks Multi‑task, adapt and function effectively in a fast‑paced dynamic environment with aggressive deadlines Quickly learn and effectively apply new knowledge Take initiative (self‑starter), be result‑oriented and take on leadership role/responsibilities as needed Work to solve a problem Work to be an excellent communicator, ask questions and follow instructions Participate in initial training to quickly learn targeted SAP technologies and methodologies Assist in the creation and maintenance of projects using internal tools Assist in the monitoring and controlling of project activities and deliverables using internal and external tracking tools Assist in managing revenue forecasting Assist in weekly and monthly status reporting Assist in developing processes and templates as well as establishing document control procedures Skills / Competencies Work as a team player while independently initiatives Must be analytical and detail oriented Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills including verbal, written, presentation and listening Educational Requirements Must be a student or recently graduated from an accredited university in Business Administration with an emphasis on Project Management, Finance, Business & Engineering, Information Systems (Technology), Computer Science, Analytics, or a relevant degree, or within six months of graduation.
