Position Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Integrated Systems Lead to oversee and drive the delivery of SAP technical initiatives across complex landscapes. This role will be responsible for leading SAP Basis and System Administration activities for projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards, and supporting critical SAP operations globally. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in SAP BASIS and infrastructure with strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills. Key Responsibilities Lead the SAP BASIS/System Administration scope for SAP projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. Partner with IT teams to support solution design, resource planning, and cost estimation during project initiation. Design, size, and maintain SAP system architecture and landscape strategies aligned with global standards. Install, configure, and upgrade SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC, BI, PI/PO, Portal, BOBJ, Solution Manager). Support performance testing , conduct root cause analysis, and resolve performance issues. Manage technical cutover, go-live, and hypercare phases with minimal disruption to business operations. Act as QA lead , ensuring that all technical designs meet established standards and best practices. Maintain complete documentation for system landscapes, administration procedures, and architecture design. Ensure compliance with release and change management processes and governance requirements. Collaborate with global teams to align technical standards, direction, and decision-making. Deliver smooth handover to operations through clear knowledge transfer and defined exit criteria. Stay current with technology and SAP ecosystem trends through continuous learning and research. Provide outstanding customer service and maintain transparent communication with all stakeholders. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Engineering, or related field. 10+ years of hands-on SAP BASIS/System Administration experience. 5+ years working in global, cross-functional teams. Proven experience with SAP BASIS/System Administration across S/4HANA, ECC 6.0, BI, PI/PO, Portal, BOBJ, and Solution Manager . Strong knowledge of HANA, Mobility/Fiori, and SAP Cloud-based solutions . Expertise in Oracle and HANA Databases on Unix/Linux and Windows environments. Solid background in sizing, landscape design, system installation, migration, and upgrade strategies . Proficiency in system refreshes, backup & restore, high availability (HA), and disaster recovery (DR) setups. Administration experience for ABAP and JAVA Stack components and SAP Middleware . Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager (Service Desk, CHARM, EWA, RCA). Strong understanding of data center operations, infrastructure, and networking concepts . Knowledge of ITIL processes , project implementation methodologies, and production support. Experience with PIRT governance and standards is a plus. Strong leadership and planning capabilities with the ability to manage multiple deliverables. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with global and cross-functional teams . Flexibility to adapt to changing business priorities and time zones. Customer-centric mindset and commitment to service excellence. Experience within IT or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industries preferred.
