Operations - Settlements Analyst Join to apply for the Operations - Settlements Analyst role at JPMorganChase Job Description As a Settlement Analyst at J.P. Morgan, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of financial transactions, contributing to the integrity and success of our settlement operations. This position offers the opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with internal teams and external counterparts. Key Responsibilities Manage and monitor payment systems, as well as Central Bank systems. Oversee and monitor Indeval for securities settlement. Maintain and enhance internal systems to optimize settlement processes. Handle and monitor activities related to Valpre-E. Investigate and resolve inquiries from internal clients and counterparties, ensuring effective and timely communication. Perform reconciliation processes across all settlement systems. Monitor balances and movements of J.P. Morgan’s accounts in various currencies. Review cash movement reconciliations using the bank’s internal systems. Support internal and external audit requirements, as well as certifications from Banco de México. Follow up, document, and elevate any operational issues until resolution. Required Qualifications, Skills, And Capabilities Previous experience in financial operations or similar roles. Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Administration, or related fields. Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written). Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Availability to work shifts from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm and/or 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. Ability to work under pressure, with strong attention to detail and results orientation. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. About Us J.P.
