The ideal candidate has strong programming skills, deep knowledge of testing methodologies, and a passion for building high‑quality, scalable systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, product managers, and DevOps to deliver high‑quality features.Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated test execution.Improve test coverage across functional, regression, performance, and security test suites.Analyze test results, identify root causes, and work with engineering teams to resolve defects.Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture evaluations.Build tools, utilities, and dashboards to support automated testing and quality metrics.Ensure adherence to best practices for testing, automation, and software quality.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Hands‑on expertise with automation tools/frameworks like:RestAssured / Postman / KarateAppium (for mobile automation)Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.Good understanding of software QA methodologies, test design techniques, and SDLC/STLC.Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and ability to write complex queries.Knowledge of version control systems (Git preferred).Strong problem‑solving skills, debugging abilities, and attention to detail.Preferred / Nice‑to‑HaveExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Exposure to performance testing (JMeter, Gatling, Locust).Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or Behave.Experience testing in microservices architecture.Understanding of monitoring tools (Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus).Soft SkillsStrong communication and collaboration skills.Analytical thinking and a quality‑first mindset.Ability to work independently and in cross‑functional teams.Ownership, accountability, and continuous learning attitude.Seniority levelMid‑Senior levelEmployment typeFull‑timeJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesIT Services and IT ConsultingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Tata Consultancy Services by 2xGet notified about new Software Engineer jobs in Mexico City, Mexico. #J-18808-Ljbffr
