Cost Controller

Job description We are seeking a Junior Cost Controller to undertake all financial management matters, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, preparation of budgets and forecasts, and development of internal control policies and procedures. Responsibilities Coordinating and guiding budget and financial forecast preparation and reporting discrepancies Timely preparation and publication of monthly financial statements Coordination of preparation of regulatory reports Investigation of technical accounting issues for compliance Support monthly and yearly closings Ensuring the quality control of financial transactions and financial information Manage and comply with local, state and federal reporting and tax return filings Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls Additional CPA duties as needed Requirements 1-3 years of combined accounting and finance experience Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures Experience in creating financial statements Experience in general ledger functions and month / year end closing process Excellent use of accounting software and management skills Experience in MS Office Very good command of the English language (verbal & written) Extra languages advantageous.
