Financial Analyst / Investment Associate Join to apply for the Financial Analyst / Investment Associate role at Globaltize About Company and Role We are one of several portfolio companies within a private equity investment firm. The broader organization is involved in sourcing, evaluating, and managing investment opportunities across multiple sectors. This role will report directly to the executive leading investment activity, providing end-to-end support across financial analysis, market research, and deal preparation. This is a unique opportunity for a sharp, proactive financial analyst who wants to work closely with a decision‑maker in private equity. The environment is dynamic, entrepreneurial, and fast‑paced. You’ll become a key right‑hand to the executive; helping reduce their workload by taking ownership of research, modeling, and preparation tasks that are critical to investment decisions. Key Responsibilities Analyze incoming investment opportunities and assess financial data Conduct market research and due diligence on companies, sectors, and trends Create valuation models, forecasts, and budget scenarios Prepare polished PowerPoint presentations and investment proposals Assist with assembling partner decks and co‑investment materials Liaise with the executive for guidance and approval before advancing tasks (In some cases) Reach out to companies with prepared questions to clarify data or gather insights Track and organize key documents and insights across ongoing deals Must‑Have Qualifications 3+ years in financial analysis, investment banking, or private equity‑related roles Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience creating client‑ready materials Research‑oriented mindset with strong attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Self‑starter who can take direction and run with tasks independently Comfortable working directly with senior executives on high‑impact projects Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications Experience working in private equity or investment banking environments Background in energy or infrastructure sectors Prior exposure to valuations and investment presentations Comfort reaching out to external stakeholders for clarification or insights Familiarity with U.S. financial reporting standards Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level.
