The Role As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be managing systems data for clients and providing day‑to‑day solutions and security compliance. You’ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients. Who You Are You’re good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. However, equally as important – you have a growth mindset; keen to drive your own personal and professional development. Required Technical and Professional Expertise More than 5 years of experience in x86 server/application migration or related IT infrastructure roles. Hands‑on administration of Windows Server 2016/2019. VMware ESX/ESXi administration experience. Experience with public/private cloud management, especially migrations from on‑prem to cloud. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills; effective written and verbal communication. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). English proficiency: Intermediate to advanced (required for global communication and documentation) Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Automation/IaC experience (e.g., infrastructure as code patterns, templating, pipelines). Vulnerability management program experience. Microsoft Active Directory & Federation Services expertise. Hands‑on experience with HPE servers and storage equipment.
