With 390+ distribution centers serving 230,000+ pharmacies, clinics, and hospitals in over 20 countries, the company is a recognized leader in pharmacy-led retail healthcare.We are expanding our team to support this strategic partnership and are looking for exceptional talent to join our rapidly growing organization. Our teams, co-located with the client in Deerfield, IL, deliver a range of critical services including product architecture, software development, integration, DevOps, UX/UI design, and Agile coaching, all focused on building the next-generation pharmacy platform.RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in software quality engineering, with at least 3+ years in a managerial or leadership role.Technical SkillsDeep understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Postman, JMeter, etc.).Strong grasp of CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and DevOps environments.Leadership & CommunicationDemonstrated experience leading and scaling quality engineering teams.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure scenarios.Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with technical teams and executive stakeholders.Experience managing vendors, external QA partners, or offshore teams is a plus.Strategic ThinkingAbility to drive quality initiatives across the organization.Experience setting quality KPIs, tracking metrics, and using data to inform decisions.Budgeting and resource planning experience preferred.Job ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day operations of the QE team, ensuring high productivity and alignment with project goals.Allocate resources effectively to meet delivery schedules and SLAs.Hire, onboard, mentor, and develop a high-performing, diverse QE team.Process & Delivery OversightDefine and implement scalable test strategies for functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.Ensure QE involvement throughout the SDLC—from requirements through post-release monitoring.Lead root-cause analysis of complex issues and put systemic improvements in place.Test Automation & CI/CD IntegrationEstablish a strong vision for automation-first QA practices.Lead implementation of automated testing pipelines within CI/CD workflows.Ensure fast feedback loops and minimal manual intervention in release cycles.Cross-Functional CollaborationLiaise closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to align QE strategy with product goals.Provide regular updates to senior leadership on quality metrics, project status, and risks.Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams to ensure adequate test environments and tooling support.Quality Metrics & ReportingDefine and track key quality metrics (e.g., defect leakage, test coverage, escape rate).Continuously analyze metrics to identify opportunities for process and product improvement.Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and practices.Evaluate and implement modern test approaches and technologies.Drive a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and process improvement within the team.What We OfferCulture of caring: We prioritize a culture of caring, where you’ll experience an inclusive culture of acceptance and belonging.Learning and development: We are committed to your continuous learning and development, with many opportunities to try new things, sharpen your skills, and advance your career.Interesting & meaningful work: You’ll have the chance to work on projects that matter, engaging your curiosity and creative problem-solving skills to help clients reimagine what’s possible.Balance and flexibility: We believe in the importance of balance and flexibility, with many functional career areas, roles, and work arrangements to help you achieve the perfect balance between your work and life.High-trust organization: We are a high-trust organization where integrity is key, with truthfulness, candor, and integrity in everything we do. #J-18808-Ljbffr
