Software Developer I Aspen Technology is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our Asset Performance Management team. In this role you will build next‑generation predictive analytics solutions for asset maintenance and optimization, while supporting our current product portfolio and contributing to a scalable, service‑based architecture. Responsibilities Develop the next generation APM solution while supporting current commercial offerings. Implement software across the full stack, including web pages, REST APIs, services, server components, and databases. Collaborate with other developers and product management to define requirements and design solutions. Engage with Quality Engineering on functional and feature testing. Adhere to standard agile development practices, including use case definition, new feature implementation, defect processing, source‑code control, and unit testing. Support incubation of new ideas, exploration and evaluation of new frameworks, technologies, and proof‑of‑concept projects. Qualifications B.S. in Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Full‑stack development experience of 2–3 years with .NET Core, .NET Framework, C#, and Angular. Experience with server‑side technologies and OOP concepts. 1 year of experience integrating REST APIs, services, microservices, and web applications. Familiarity with SQL Server; MongoDB is a plus. Experience building on‑premise applications and writing unit and integration tests. Knowledge of CI/CD, TDD, static code analysis, and test tools (e.g., xUnit). Strong interpersonal communication, presentation skills, and English fluency. Independent problem‑solving ability within an entrepreneurial team.
