El equipo de AI Enablement de Zillow forma parte de la Organización Central de Ingeniería de Datos y trabaja en estrecha colaboración con múltiples organizaciones de productos y análisis. Contribuirás al diseño e implementación de soluciones de ingeniería de datos que simplificarán las partes intensivas en datos del ciclo de vida de ML, como la ingeniería de características. Nuestro objetivo actual es trabajar con nuestras partes interesadas en ML para definir soluciones de datos de extremo a extremo para varias canalizaciones de ML que impulsan las ofertas basadas en GenAI.About the role
As a Software Development Engineer in the Zillow Group AI Enablement team, you will :
- Design and build scalable streamings systems for orchestrating end to end event storage, enrichments and access
- Collaborate with various internal teams (platform, product, ML engineering) to scope and deliver tools ensuring ease of system use
- Work with a variety of technologies such as Flink, Spark, Kafka, dbt, DynamoDB, AWS Transcribe, etc.
- Code with the best language for the job, be it - Java, Python, Go or Scala

Como Ingeniero de Desarrollo de Software en el equipo AI Enablement de Zillow Group, deberás :
- Diseñar y construir sistemas de streaming escalables para orquestar el almacenamiento, enriquecimiento y acceso a eventos de extremo a extremo.
- Colaborar con varios equipos internos (plataforma, producto, ingeniería ML) para alcanzar y entregar herramientas que garanticen la facilidad de uso del sistema.
- Trabajar con una variedad de tecnologías como Flink, Spark, Kafka, dbt, DynamoDB, AWS Transcribe, etc.
- Código con el mejor lenguaje para el trabajo, ya sea - Java, Python, Go o Scala
This role has been categorized as a teleworker position. Teleworkers do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any part of Mexico, but preferably in Mexico City, as we would encourage attendance for occasional in-office events.
In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.
Who you are- A degree (BS+) in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 3+ years of experience with building and maintaining data intensive applications
- Strong background in Java or Python
- Excellent interpersonal skills and passionate about collaborating across organizational boundaries
- Fluent in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
- Must be authorized to work in Mexico.
Nice to have:
- Experience developing complex software systems scaling to millions of users with production quality deployment, monitoring and reliability
- Experience working with cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Experience with modern data technologies (Spark, Flink, Kafka, Airflow)
- Experience with Databricks
Quién es usted
- Licenciatura (BS+) en Informática o una disciplina relacionada
- Más de 3 años de experiencia en la creación y el mantenimiento de aplicaciones con uso intensivo de datos
- Sólidos conocimientos de Java o Python
- Excelentes habilidades interpersonales y pasión por la colaboración a través de los límites de la organización
- Fluidez en inglés y español (tanto escrito como hablado).
- Debe estar autorizado para trabajar en México.
