SAP MM/WM Lead Consultant

OverviewInfosys is seeking a Lead SAP MM/WM Consultant. This position requires an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. It is important to mention that in some cases there will be required to participate in AMS support projects.ResponsibilitiesContribute to different phases of the consulting lifecycle, including business process consulting, problem definition, proposal development, and client training.Develop, configure and deploy SAP MM/WM solutions.Guide teams on project processes, deliverables, and scope; support internal capability building.Participate in AMS support projects as required.Required QualificationsBachelor’s / Engineering degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.This position is based in Mexico (Mexico City / Monterrey or Guadalajara). The location for this position is Mexico and will be in a hybrid mode; candidate may need to travel to office if required. Candidates must be willing to work from office at this location daily if required.All applicants authorized to work in Mexico are encouraged to apply.Preferred QualificationsAt least 7 years of experience in SAP MM/WM module including 2 S/4 HANA full life cycle project implementation.Domain knowledge in Purchasing, Inventory, warehouse management processes; integration points with other SAP submodules.Expertise in integration processes with logistic third-party vendors (3PL).Some knowledge in Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) is a plus.Ability to analyze business requirements, provide conceptual and detailed design, perform necessary SAP configurations, write detailed specifications for ABAP custom programs, test and implement the solution.Strong hands-on experience in Logistics Execution, EDI/IDoc integration and system integration areas.Knowledge and hands-on experience of B2B integration and system-to-system integration of SAP through EDI/IDOC and other interface methods.Experience in SAP AMS support projects: L2 / L3 support, incident management; CMMI (desired).Extensive knowledge of SAP custom application programs, enhancements, BADIs/BAPIs, interfaces and user exits.Experience in Process Industries, Medical Devices and Pharmaceutical Industry.Experience in Master data related projects and Enterprise Portal is desirable.Ability to read ABAP codes; writing functional/technical specifications for ABAP custom solutions and interfaces.Experience in working with business users to define scope and gather requirements; testing and rollout of the final product.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects simultaneously; strong analytical and communication skills; good planning and coordination.Willingness to travel as required by the job.About UsInfosys is a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting.
