Specializing in Design, Architecture, Project Management, and General Contracting, Edicon delivers excellence for luxury brands across the America's.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Construction Project Manager located in Mexico City, Mexico. The Senior Construction Project Manager will be responsible for project coordination, construction project management, budgeting, construction management, and overall project management tasks.Senior Project Manager maintain regular communication with clients, monitor construction and financial activities, and ensure projects are completed accurately. For large, complex projects, they may serve as the onsite manager. The Senior Project Manager is expected to lead by example, guide the Project Managers, and uphold the company's mission and values.Key Responsibilities:Initiate and maintain communication with brand managers and other stakeholders to facilitate project activities.Represent the company in project meetings and attend strategy meetings.Oversee and provide guidance to Project Managers and staff on multiple projects.Collaborate with superintendents to plan, organize, and direct activities related to construction projects.Lead and assist with estimating potential projects.Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within the boundaries of company policy and contract specifications.Monitor and control projects through administrative direction of site supers to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.Identify potential construction risks and implement corrective measures.Collaborate with contract administrators to manage the financial aspects of contracts, protecting the company’s interests while maintaining good relationships with clients.Assist Directors with personnel strategy, time allocation, and fee proposals.Create project schedules and ensure deadlines are met.Lead the Project Management team and proactively synchronize activities with all parties involved.Review projects design criteria, work letters, and client programs to ensure the final design complies with these requirements and coordinates with the Landlord's delivery conditions.Possess extensive knowledge of standard industry practices and procedures for project delivery.Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and consultants.Must be fluent speaking and writing in English and Spanish.Qualifications:Bachelors or Master of Architecture degree, Civil Engineer or Project Management experience preferred. 10+ years of construction management experience or comparable skills in RETAIL and HOSPITALITY projects.Knowledge of local regulations and building codes in Mexico City is a plus.Construction Project Management and Construction Management skills.Experience in general construction and tenant coordination.Budgeting skills.Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.Must be self-motivated and punctual. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. English fluent written and spoken.Must know, CAD, Microsoft Office and Project.
