Tech Lead

Company: MMC Corporate Description: Tech Lead We are seeking a Tech Lead to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As a Tech Lead at Marsh, you will collaborate closely with architects, developers, and operational staff to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and business goals, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation, leading developer groups focused on delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions primarily using the MEAN/MERN stack. We will count on you to Lead and mentor developer groups, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to best practices. Act as a hands-on contributor for approximately 80% of the time, driving development efforts in MEAN/MERN stack applications. Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and performant software solutions using relational (SQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases. Architect and implement cloud-based solutions, preferably on AWS, ensuring robust, scalable infrastructure. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines leveraging Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment automation. Implement and maintain observability and monitoring solutions using Datadog to ensure system reliability and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, and operations to deliver high-quality software solutions. Conduct code reviews, architectural reviews, and provide technical guidance to development teams. Foster a culture of knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and professional growth within the team. What you need to have Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience. 7+ years of professional experience in software development with progressive leadership responsibilities. Comfortable being 80% hands-on in development activities. Strong hands-on experience with MEAN (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js) or MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) stacks. Proficient with relational databases such as SQL and PostgreSQL, and non-relational databases like MongoDB. Experience with at least one cloud platform, preferably AWS. Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker containerization, and Kubernetes orchestration.
