Head of Risk and Compliance Technology MX and LAM Role Purpose: The Head of Risk & Compliance MX and LAM will lead technology services in the region, ensuring operational resilience and building delivery capability for global solutions. Responsibilities Provide consultancy and support to effectively deliver Risk and Compliance Technology services in the entity. Ensure market demand is captured and prioritized within the Risk and Compliance global portfolio. Support direct cost, headcount management, and annual planning for market teams. Execute applications in accordance with standards, controls, and SLAs, measuring and communicating results. Govern risk responsibly, promoting ethical management of risks and ensuring regulatory processes are adhered to. Provide status of issues related to critical IT incidents for Risk and Compliance applications consumed in the region. Collaborate with peer market Heads, Risk and Compliance stakeholders, and senior Technology Personnel to implement objectives within policy, spend, and regulatory constraints. Build and nurture a world‑class engineering practice capability to attract, develop and retain Technology talent. Encourage and promote development of technical skills and ongoing training for Risk and Compliance Technology staff in the region. Implement the LAM Risk & Compliance applications Roadmap, drive continuous improvement, and adopt global technology solutions. Qualifications Education: Engineering or bachelor’s degree in careers related to information technology. Experience: 5+ years working with technology teams in infrastructure, software delivery, or technical management. Experience leading software delivery teams in an Agile environment. Managing a medium‑size team across multiple locations, including remote workers. Exceptional relationship management skills in a global organization. Strong oral, written, and executive presentation skills. Experience with Risk and Compliance processes is an advantage. Higher education qualification in Computer Science or similar is an advantage. Data refinement / Data management (Cloudera, BigQuery). CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools (Ansible, Jenkins). Monitoring tools (AppDynamics/Splunk) and open telemetry standards. Administration / Management: Project management (Agile, PMO). Budget management (Capex, Opex, Forecast). Technology Controls (related to SDLC, deployment, Data, Security). DevOps Research and Assessment Metrics (DORA). Competencies: Analytical capacity / Problem solving. Leadership of multidisciplinary teams. Decision making. Effective communication.
