Job Description As a Warehouse Assistant you will be responsible for the transportation and delivery of production elements between the warehouse facilities and Studios. Responsibilities Assists in maintaining and updating the detailed control/inventory count of all items pertaining to each assigned soap opera and/or set Assists production personnel in identifying and locating items in the warehouse Delivers specific items as needed to different departments Responsible for ensuring the proper packaging of items for transportation and/or storage Assists in restocking items on racks upon delivery Utilizes forklift as needed to remove and add items from and to the warehouse Ensures that all work is done under the technical guidelines and operations procedures of Telemundo Studios’ infrastructure and adheres to EHS/OSHA regulations and procedures Follows policies, applicable laws, and regulations to protect his/her own health and safety as well as that of other workers, the public, and the environment Presents ideas that support EHS goals and policies to your business or EHS leader Raises concerns about possible violations of EHS policies to your manager, business and EHS Leader Works under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Coordinator and/or Warehouse Lead and is responsible for completing any other tasks as assigned by supervisor Qualifications Basic Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse logistics and operations Prior work experience using a forklift Basic knowledge in the production of novelas/soap operas and TV Basic proficiency with MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint Ability to lift over 10 lbs of item(s) used in props and/or sets Must be able to perform physical activities required of this position which includes, but is not limited to, climbing, lifting, balancing stooping, and handling of materials. Must be able to perform job at locations in and outside work environment with varying weather conditions Eligibility Requirements Willingness to travel with short notice and on weekends Willingness to work flexible hours including late and/or last-minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment Must be willing to work in the greater Mexico City area Must be 18 years or older Must have a valid driver’s license Desired Characteristics Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, dead-line driven environment Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently Customer service orientated Additional Information As part of our selection process, external candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview with an NBCUniversal employee at one of our locations prior to a hiring decision.
