Business Operations Manager @ Interlix Staffing Location: Remote (LATAM Applicants Only) Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week Company Overview Our client is a growing bookkeeping firm supporting U.S.-based small businesses with clean, reliable monthly accounting and year-end readiness. The team values trust, accuracy, and proactive problem‑solving, with a focus on scalable systems and long‑term client retention. Position Overview We are seeking a Senior / Expert Bookkeeper (QuickBooks Online) to take full ownership of day‑to‑day bookkeeping operations so leadership can focus on sales and growth. This role requires advanced QBO expertise, strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, and the ability to independently manage and improve workflows with minimal oversight. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate, tax‑ready U.S. GAAP books for multiple U.S.-based clients in QuickBooks Online Execute full-cycle monthly bookkeeping, including: Bank and credit card reconciliations. Month‑end close and reporting, Cleanup and catch‑up engagements. Handle bulk deposits, split deposits, merchant batching (Stripe, Square, Toast) Maintain clean, audit‑ready financials: P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Beginning balances tied to prior tax returns / CPA financials Use TaxDome (or equivalent) for client requests and communication and internal notes and time logs Use RightTool Pro (or similar tools) to accelerate cleanup, bulk edits, and reporting efficiency Maintain accurate monthly books including reconciliations and transaction categorization (cash and accrual). Support practice scalability by improving internal processes and maintaining consistent monthly close quality. Required Qualifications Fluent in English (C1/C2 level), written and spoken. 3+ years managing U.S.-based clients in QuickBooks Online (QBO). QuickBooks Online Level 1 and Level 2 (Advanced) certifications. Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP (must be able to clearly distinguish U.S. GAAP vs IFRS). Strong understanding of cash vs accrual accounting. Experience handling contractor and cash-intensive small business bookkeeping, including restaurants. Book‑to‑tax readiness experience (year‑end close, retained earnings, depreciation, amortization). High trust, reliability, and ability to work independently with minimal oversight. Preferred Qualifications Experience building or improving SOPs and workflows. Interest in growing into a lead/management role. Exposure to FP&A or “CFO‑lite” support (P&L and balance sheet discussions). Familiarity with TaxDome (preferred, not required). Experience with RightTool Pro or similar advanced bookkeeping tooling (optional but highly valued) Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week Compensation: $12/hour USD (approx. $2,000/month) Location: Remote PTO & Holidays: Approximately 2 weeks PTO & Paid U.S. holidays High-trust, high-accountability environment Clear performance expectations with autonomy and ownership We look forward to reviewing your application.
