For more information, please visit: www.didiglobal.com/news #LI-Hybrid Team Overview Being part of the Marketplace team is developing one of the main cornerstones of the business: marketplace balance. As part of the broader City Operations organization, our Marketplace team responsible for the engagement and retention of our users and allocating supply in an efficient and timely manner to support the experience within the app. This position will be responsible for building deep insights about the ride-hailing business from multiple perspectives like pricing, marketplace and competition. The ideal candidate must have strong analytical skills, data driven mindset, prioritization capabilities, attention to detail and excellent execution. The role will demonstrate leadership in multi-skill projects and initiatives. Role Responsibilities Ownership of Marketplace Strategies: Develop strategies to enhance marketplace efficiency and improve experience and retention. Initiative Development: Creating new initiatives aimed at efficiently balancing our marketplace. City ownership: Responsible for operational and financial results for a portfolio of cities Data Analysis: Conducting continuous data analysis to understand day-to-day driver behavior and competitive trends. KPI Optimization: Optimizing efficiency KPIs through operational tools and programs informed by comprehensive data analysis. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with teams like marketing, product, and user research to place user experience at the center of all initiatives. Role Qualifications 2+ years of data analytics, business consulting, investment banking or operations management experience. Data science, engineering, economics or other analytically-focused academic background. All backgrounds are welcome if you see yourself suitable in a highly analytic environment. Experience with data-based decision-making, exercising good judgment in ambiguous circumstances, and effectively communicating across a diverse team. Previous professional experience in analytical or operational roles is preferred. Demonstrated experience using programming languages or tools for data extraction and analysis such as Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, etc. is a must Great attitude and hands-on approach. Proven to be self-motivated, self-directed and eager to take ownership of tasks. Proficiency in English & Spanish. Strong verbal and written communications skills. Detail-oriented, hands-on and strong teamwork mindset. Self-motivation with a strong affinity for problem solving, driving action, and strong project ownership.
