A growing real estate management company is looking for a Full-Cycle Accountant who can confidently own the financial engine behind multiple properties. This role isn’t about passing entries down the line—it’s about taking responsibility from start to finish, ensuring the books are clean, the balances make sense, and leadership can trust the numbers. If you’re detail-driven, steady under pressure, and confident managing accounting end to end, this role puts you in a position of real ownership and impact. Why This Role Exists When accounting is done right, properties run smoothly, decisions are clear, and problems are solved early—not after the fact. Your job is to make sure every property’s financial story is accurate, reconciled, and ready to stand up to scrutiny. You’ll be the person who sees discrepancies, fixes them, and closes the month with confidence. What You’ll Do Own Full-Cycle Accounting Manage end-to-end accounting for a portfolio of real estate properties Take responsibility for accuracy from transaction review through final reporting Keep the Balance Sheet Clean Review and maintain balance sheets with monthly reconciliations Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues promptly and thoroughly Prepare and analyze profit & loss statements Review income and expenses for accuracy and consistency Answer questions related to financial statements and results Control the Monthly Close Own the monthly close process across assigned properties Ensure all portfolios are closed accurately and on time—every month Monitor Budgets & Variances Identify variances and clearly explain what’s driving them Spot Problems Early Identify accounting issues Trace root causes Implement corrections so issues don’t repeat Maintain Order & Trust Keep financial records organized, accurate, and audit-ready Communicate clearly and professionally in English with internal teams and stakeholders What You Bring Proven experience as a Full-Cycle Accountant Strong balance sheet expertise with hands‑on monthly review experience Solid experience preparing and reviewing P&L statements Proven ability to perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical thinking Clear, professional English communication (written and verbal) High level of ownership and accountability—you see issues through to resolution Experience with multiple accounting systems (Rent Manager is a plus) Why This Role Matters Accurate accounting protects profitability, supports leadership decisions, and prevents small issues from becoming big problems.
