Overview Senior Accountant (Bilingual & Hands-on) — Location: Terrapark Centenario Industrial Park, Querétaro. On-site. Industry: Manufacturing / Specialized Services. Role: Lead the transition from external accounting to an in-house operation with responsibility for the full accounting cycle and financial compliance for three business units (Sales, Service, and Manufacturing). Reports to the Finance Manager and global stakeholders in France. Responsibilities Full Cycle Accounting: Manage daily accounting, invoicing, and banking for the three entities. Internalization Project: Lead the migration of accounting processes from an external firm to the internal department. Tax & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Mexican tax laws, VAT, income tax, and intercompany reconciliations. System Integration: Optimize the connection between the operating system (Odoo) and the accounting/invoicing modules. Manufacturing & IMMEX: Supervise accounting records related to manufacturing costs and IMMEX program compliance for the assembly plant. Global Reporting: Present financial results and coordinate internal/external audits in English with the French Auditor and the Global CFO. Candidate Profile Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting (CPA license preferred). Experience: 5+ years in similar roles within SMEs or mid-sized manufacturing plants (Maquiladoras). Languages: Advanced Business English is mandatory. Ability to conduct technical discussions and interviews in English. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Mexican NIF (Local GAAP) and tax compliance; proven cost accounting and inventory management; hands-on experience with ERP systems (Odoo is a plus). Work Style: High autonomy; comfortable performing data entry and operational tasks personally (minimal administrative support). Core Competencies Operational Excellence: Willingness to perform daily execution. Adaptability: Manage different business models (Trading vs. Manufacturing) simultaneously. Communication: Bridge local operations and French Headquarters. Compensation & Benefits Monthly Salary: $45,000–$52,000 MXN Gross (based on experience). Savings Fund: 8% (Capped).
