Platform Operations Engineer (Hybrid opportunity) Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Platform Operations Engineer to join our Platform Operations team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with infrastructure, security, and product teams to continue making Hyatt a leading hospitality company. Responsibilities Support middleware platform running on Linux (RHEL and AIX) for critical services such as content management, reservation, and loyalty systems. Deploy, restart, and maintain applications and middleware platforms. Manage security vulnerability and certificate inventory, and upgrade middleware to supported versions. Automate routine operational tasks and build end‑to‑end automation for platform systems. Participate in an on‑call rotation and support additional systems on VMs and containers. Qualifications Minimum 4 years experience supporting Linux‑based platforms in large enterprise environments. Strong automation experience using Bash, Ansible, or Terraform. Excellent troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and proactive can‑do attitude. Hands‑on experience with JBoss/WildFly, Apache, WebLogic/WebSphere, and web architecture (servers, loads, balancers). Proven experience with monitoring, logging, and IT service management tools (Datadog, Splunk, ServiceNow, Remedy). Experience with source control (Git) and agile project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps). Solid understanding of security best practices and networking fundamentals. Preferred: Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, Azure), Kubernetes, and Kubernetes automation. Benefits Annual allotment of free hotel stays at Hyatt hotels worldwide.
