First Brands Group is hiring for a Credit and Claims Analyst. We are looking for a detail-oriented person for a Claims Analyst position, responsible to compile, review and analyze claims data and perform related duties. In this role you will be responsible for managing claims linked to deliveries, quality, promotions, discounts, and allowances to the customer. You will review documentation, create credit/debit notes, and collaborate with Customer Service, Credit and Collection, Sales team, and customer. Primary Responsibilities • Analyzing claims requests, review documentation and extract relevant information. • Resolve claim inquiries, create credit/debit notes in the ERP system. • Collaborate with Customer Service, Credit and Collections or Sales team in obtaining required documentation or information from both internal and external customers. • Verifies accuracy and completeness of all required information including current pricing, discounts applied and shipping and handling charges. • Review documentation, collecting and processing data. • Research, create, and maintain related information and data to ensure compliance. • Follow all policies and procedures established for the department. • Keep accurate and updated records. Requirements And Minimum Education Level: • Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, Finance • Knowledge of at least one ERP system: PRMS (AS400), Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards or QAD • Prior experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Deductions is nice to have Skills: • Excellent communication skills • Good knowledge of English language (spoken and written)• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel • Good analytical skills and attention to details • Strong problem-solving and time management skills • Teamwork skills
